Community Engagement
These volunteers share The Way Home Adoption message within their communities. The placement of our Hearts Who Need Homes gallery through public and online spaces in and around Houston is driven primarily through our Community Engagement volunteers. Community Engagement volunteers bring our kids’ stories and voices to new audiences and our youth depend on them.
Professional Photography
Our Hearts Who Need Homes gallery depends on the generosity of professional photographers. We want to give each of our youth the opportunity to have their personality shine through and be highlighted in our gallery with professional photographs. Donate photography for one youth or meet us on a Saturday for multiple sessions – we need you!
Raise Awareness, Raise Funds
Volunteers help raise funds for The Way Home Adoption by engaging their communities and raising awareness. From helping with our annual golf tournament and H-Town Dine Around, to planning your own fundraising and awareness events – we depend on all communities for support.
Interested in Older Youth Adoption?
Take the next step by volunteering with the youth we serve at our monthly Enrich & Engage events. Volunteers help with facilitation and transportation for the Enrich & Engage events, giving youth and interested parents a chance to get to know each other and form natural bonds prior to a decision about adoption.
