Meet frangelica
Frangelica’s life has been a hard one.
Frangelica’s dad had PTSD and severe depression and has been in and out of psychological institutions his whole life. Her mother is a drug addict. One evening, Frangelica was found roaming the streets alone while her mother was out searching for drugs and was eventually put into foster care.
Frangelica has witnessed a lot. She’s seen domestic violence. Seen her mother use drugs. She experienced her mom forgetting to give her the medical attention she needed as a child with ADHD and autism.
Yet despite all this, Frangelica is a friendly and curious 9-year-old, who loves learning new things and helping around the home. She’s very proud of her cooking and sewing skills. She is very sweet and polite, but sometimes struggles to remain focused.
Because of her autism, Frangelica needs a lot of attention and hands-on guidance, which her most recent foster parents are giving her. Frangelica is learning many new life skills from her foster mom. They do everything together, and it’s been incredibly healing for Frangelica.
But still Frangelica yearns for a family to call her own. A family where Frangelica is given consistency and structure she needs to feel safe and unconditionally loved, allowing her to learn and explore. Frangelica has big dreams, and hopes she finds a family to help her accomplish them.
